After growing up in St. Louis, Missouri and attending the University of Missouri for two years, I packed up my bags and car and headed west to California. I came to San Luis Obispo in 1974 knowing absolutely no one, transferring to Cal Poly to finish college. I graduated from the School of Agriculture with a Batchelor of Science Degree in Environmental Horticultural Sciences in 1976.
I fell in love with San Luis Obispo while at Cal Poly and have never left. A couple years prior to moving to SLO I fell in love with my wife, Julie, whom I met on a blind date while attending the University of Missouri. We have been in SLO for over forty years and have raised our family here.
We also have had two foreign exchange students live with us for a school year, one in 1997/98 and the other in 2003/04 These were wonderful experiences and both have become part of our family and lives. It is really special to have a "son" in Argentina and a "daughter" in Turkey. We have traveled to both countries to meet and travel with both of their families.
My personal interests include golf, gardening, camping, hiking, and traveling. I also have enjoyed volunteering for local community organizations over the years, including our local YMCA, Special Olympics and SLO High School 24 Hour Relay Challenge Fundraiser, as well as supporting city cleanup efforts and the Land Conservancy of San Luis Obispo County.
I have been investing in real estate in SLO County for years and have a well rounded knowledge of our market. This experience helps me find clients what they need, whether they're looking for a primary residence, a second home or an investment property.
I believe in building friendly, honest relationships and providing excellent service to my clients for years to come.and I will probably throw in a little fun along the way.
